RE/SPOND/INVENT/CREATE Contemporary art exhibition by Christina Mintrentse

Artist Christina Mitrentse presentd from March 15th until September 11th 2015, the contemporary art exhibition entitled, RE/SPOND/INVENTCREATE, curated by museologist Mina Karagianni. Visitors that attended the exhibition had the opportunity of discovering the artworks between the artefacts of the Museum’s permanent collection. They also participated with great interest in the live performance at Metalibrary that took place at the lower level of the Museum. Those that had already brought a book with them gave it to the artist, who placed it in the specially designed grid, to create the installation. The books remained at the museum until the end of the exhibition.
