Participation of the EME in the two-day meeting of the Working Group of the Greek-German Youth Foundation (GGYO) at the Mahn-und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück
The Jewish Museum of Greece was represented by Dr. Maria Vasilikou at the two-day conference of the Working Group of the Hellenic-German Youth Foundation (GGYO) that took place at the Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück 27-30 March 2023.
The purpose of the meeting was the presentation of the activities of CIIN in the framework of the project “Remembering for Tomorrow”, the Greek-German exchange of experiences and knowledge as well as the search for appropriate material and the right methods of communication regarding the Greek-German historical memory. The Working Group had the unique opportunity to tour the historical memorial site of Ravensbrück, where dozens of Greek Jewish women were incarcerated by the Nazis and their collaborators.
